For more than 30 years the Humpty Dumpty Foundation, founded by Paul Francis OAM, Patron Johanna Griggs AM, has been helping hospitals and health services care for children by providing much needed medical equipment and initiatives that improve health outcomes. Humpty provides a Wish List giving donors complete choice of the kind and location of their support. To date, Humpty has provided medical equipment to paediatric wards, neonatal units, and maternity and emergency departments for around 500 hospitals across Australia.
In 2025 the Girgensohn Foundation provided funds for the acquisition of two Agilia Volumetric Pumps for the paediatric ward of Lithgow Hospital. The pumps are used for precise intravenous administration of medicines or transfusions reducing drug administration errors.
We also donated a M54001, MS40 Infinity Monitor plus accessories for the Royal Darwin Hospital. This monitor is a portable device used for continuous hemodynamic monitoring of patients in hospital settings, including during transport. It measures vital signs such as ECG, SpO2, CO2, and temperature and can function as a standalone monitor or wirelessly integrate with hospitals IT systems for data analysis.
